Absinthe Glass Style: Pontarlier Reservoir Absinthe Glass
Size: 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide at the rim.  Holds about 7 ounces.

Description:
This is a reproduction of the famous Belle Époque absinthe glass that was used in France a hundred years ago. This lovely absinthe glass is made from hand-blown and hand-cut glass.

The reservoir is designed to hold the perfect amount of absinthe (1 ounce).  Simply fill it with your favorite absinthe, add 3 or 5 parts water and enjoy.  The reservoir holds about one ounce and the entire glass holds about 7 fluid ounces.

Hand wash only.

Good glasses. Thick and reasonable tough considering that they are mouth blown and handcut. I accidently hit the rim of one of them with one of my double old fashion glasses and the absinthe glass didn't break or chip. Also one of the cheaper absinthe glasses you can buy.

I love the look of these glasses.  I've yet to use them, but I love the reservoir idea rather than using  shooter glass to measure out the Absinthe.  I feel that these just add to the image of being a great & sophisticated drink.....not just an alcoholic beverage.
