Size: 3.5 inches wide x 3.5 inches tall. This brouilleur will accommodate any absinthe glass with a lip diameter of up to 3 inches.

Product Description:

This is a reproduction of the Perrenod brouilleur used in France a hundred years ago.   This brouilleur is used to create a louche by adding absinthe to water rather than the typical method of add water to absinthe.   This unusual style of brouilleur has a reservoir leading to a long hollow spike. First, water is added to a glass.   The brouilleur and plate are placed on top of the glass.  The tip of the spike should penetrate the water surface.  Absinthe is then placed in the reserverior  and it pours down the spike into the water below. 

This Perrenod brouilleur  is silver plated and sold exclusively by our store.

Use this brouilleur with your favorite absinthe glass with a lip diameter of up to 3 inches.  Glass not included.
